Do Liberals care about the poor and starving in the 3rd world?

Norman Borlaug died today at the age of 95.

Borlaug spent his entire life combatting famine and hunger. The Nobel laureate was already credited with saving more lives from starvation than any other person who ever lived. But he never quit. He is credited as saving over a BILLION people.

Borlaug was the man who saved more human lives than anyone else in history. Ever, EVER. Not jesus christ, not the pope, not Live Aid, just one selfless man who made it his life mission to eradicate hunger.

Borlaug was the Father of the Green Revolution, the dramatic improvement in agricultural productivity that swept the globe in the 1960s. For spearheading this achievement, he was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize in 1970. He has lived among the people he saved. He is and will remain the greatest humanatarian who ever lived. R.I.P. Norm.

The extreme Eco-jerks and food nazi's will continue to discount his amazing achievements, but like my hero Penn Jillette has said "unless you and your family are starving, you need to SHUT THE FUCK UP!"
